Hints and Tips:

SpotCollector is most valuable when first starting out with a new frequency.

After you have logged in from the first time, SpotCollector will be automatic when you login.

SpotCollector will only show spots that have been made during the current session.

You can change the filter settings to the “daily” or “weekly” view.

You can change the filter settings to the “local” or “global” view.

From the second or later time you login, SpotCollector displays all the spots.

It is suggested to not connect the SpotCollector when you are away from your workstation.

To automatically load the spots, use the TBCtrl-K command.

To force SpotCollector to reload the spots, use the F5 key.

When collecting spot on a distant cluster, you must use two telnet connections, one for sending a PATCH and the other one for receiving the spots.

Note: To read the spots, SpotCollector uses a subset of HTML tags. It is recommended that you use a text editor to view SpotCollector’s spots.

Future improvements to SpotCollector include time zone-time stamp options and a network graph, but that will take a while.
